Dermalux Flex MD featured in Daily Mail as a skin care solution “that really works”.

Lockdown may be a necessary strategy to deal with Covid, but the impact upon our health, skin and general well-being, continues to mount up against a growing background of home-schooling, too many zoom calls, no access to the high street, and the overall impact of tension and weariness. You may or may not be able to count the age of tree by its rings, but you can certainly count the impact of lockdown by the extra wrinkles on people’s faces!

‘Come out of Lockdown looking 10 years younger!’ was a feature recently published in the Femail section of the Daily Mail on Feb 4th. Written by Claire Coleman, experts were asked to give their best advice for readers ‘to get their glow back’. Leading beauty expert and journalist Alice Hart-Davis listed some of the devices she had tried and tested as Gadgets That Really Work, top of the list was the Dermalux Flex MD. Alice wrote, “Unlike most LED masks, which aren’t powerful or precise enough, this lives up to its promise.”

Whilst not cheapest solution on the market, Alice explained: “It is expensive, but uses medical-grade LEDs and has clinical studies to back it up.”

One of the most powerful statements made by Alice was “I used it for 20 to 30 minutes, five times a week for three months, and images showed it had knocked nine years off my skin age.”

To many this people this may sound too good to be true, but Alice used science to track the effects of the LED Phototherapy upon her skin, as a respected journalist she researched the technology and has the evidence to back up her claims. Phototherapy can be used to rejuvenate the skin and Alice used an independent skin analysis machine to determine that regular use over a three-month period had ‘knocked nine years off’ her skin age. In a video she recorded on her Instagram feed (see link below), she explained that fine lines under her eyes had been reduced and that the overall skin tone and condition had been improved.
